Sommer Haven provides food, clothes, and medical supplies for the poor, and trains the nationals to meet the needs of their people.

Sommer Haven networks with hundreds of other organizations around the world to distribute free of charge millions of pounds of food and other necessities locally, nationally and internationally.

Whether it is a flood in Mexico, or a hurricane in the United States, Sommer Haven has become a reliable source for emergency provisions and assistance for relief workers, missionaries, churches and other organizations.

There are 963 million undernourished people in the world today.

Two hundred million children under age five are malnourished.

Everyday 30,000 children under the age of five die of preventable causes.

In the United States alone 15 million children live below the poverty line.

Global food production will have to increase by 2 billion pounds a day to meet world demands by the year 2010.

Working together with those who have the passion for helping the less fortunate around the world.
